Athlete’s Cup
The Athlete’s Cup is a award given to the Ace Archers, Inc. youth or adult athlete that participates in the most tournaments and places the best. The Athlete’s Cup is awarded during the Kick-off Banquet.
Every JOAD and Adult member is eligible for the Athlete’s Cup! The youth and adult athletes can participate in the Athlete’s Cup by attending tournaments. The tournaments are the Ace Archer, Inc. Warm-Up tournaments (indoor and outdoor), SAAM Sanctioned Star FITA tournaments, JOAD National Indoors, National Indoors, JOAD Nationals, National Tournament. The more tournaments you attend, the higher your standings in the Athlete’s Cup.
You receive 5 points for participating in a tournament. You receive 3 more points for 1st place, 2 extra points for second place, and 1 bonus point for 3rd place.
Since the adults cannot participate in the JOAD National Indoors and the JOAD Nationals (outdoor) tournaments, only adults can receive points for participating in the National Indoors and National Tournament (outdoors).
