Team Aces Qualifications

Membership in Team Aces is a privilege not a right. A candidate must meet the following qualifications and maintain their archery skills and athleticism.

The qualifications for a Team Aces member are:

1. The candidate must be a member of Ace Archers JOAD for at least two months.

• This qualification can be waived by a majority vote of the Ace Archer Coaches, after seeing the candidate shoot.

2. Full membership in Team Aces: The Olympic Recurve or FITA Compound candidate must have a rank of Red Star or above. A Standard Bow, Traditional Recurve, or Traditional Longbow candidate must have a rank of Blue Star or above.
3. Junior membership in Team Aces: The Olympic Recurve, FITA Compound, Standard Bow, Traditional Recurve, or Traditional Longbow candidate must have a rank of Black Star or above.
4. The candidate must own their own equipment.
5. The candidate must shoot the National Training System form (KSL Shot Cycle, BEST Method).
6. The candidate must attend the Tournament Class.

When a candidate meets all these requirements, then they are invited to join Team Aces.

Once accepted into Team Aces, a member has responsibilities to themselves and Team Aces plus benefits as part of Team Aces. If the team member does not meet their responsibilities then the member will be removed from the team.
