Description
The April Upside Down Shoot is a single-line 450-round event where every five ends brings a different twist. Archers will shoot two-minute ends, with two practice ends and 15 scoring ends. This event will not include any unofficial practice ends prior to the event start. Awards will be available after the final line has concluded.

Dates/Times:
- Sunday April 5 at 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
- Tuesday April 7 at 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Saturday April 11 at 5 PM – 7 PM
Check-in will open THIRTY minutes before the start of the event and close FIVE minutes before the event begins. Archers should aim to arrive at least FIFTEEN minutes prior to the start of their shooting time. Please register for only ONE shooting time. Space is limited to 14 archers per time slot.
Eligibility
- Ages 8 and up
- USA Archery membership NOT required
- Ace Archers community and other archers who shoot regularly with any other JOAD/Adult Archery Program in New England
- Valid Ace Archers liability waiver required
Divisions
Archers will be divided based on:
- Distance: 18 m or 9 m (youth only)
- Target Selection: 40 cm (single or triangular 3-spot) or 60 cm (youth only)
- Age: Youth (JOAD) or Adult
- Bow Type: Barebow, Olympic Recurve, or Compound
- USA Archery pin rank or recent score – where possible we will place archers in divisions with others of comparable skill
Ace Archers students or range time members may use range equipment. All bows must have a draw weight under 60# and arrows must have target points. Archers will need at least four arrows.
